Microsoft have an initiative running whereby they give money to various good causes if we, the emailers and messengers use their software.

It's free to sign up at http://im.live.com/Messenger/IM/Home/Default.aspx and every little helps :ok::ok::ok:

Oh good grief!

Get ready for another spate of spoof "chain-letter" emails: "For every person you forward this email to, Bill Gates will personally donate $1 to a charity of your choice."

The sad part is, thousands of people will believe the email and forward it to everyone in their address book. :ugh:

It appears genuine (the live.com domain is registered to Microsoft), but:

At this time, the i’m™ initiative is available only in the United States. You're still welcome to download Windows Live™ Messenger, or use Windows Live Hotmail®, our free webmail service, however you will not be able to participate in the i’m Initiative yet.
