New IE windows loading minimised?

Hope someone can help.

Whenever I open a new IE 5.5 window, it's always minimised, whereas I want it opening to a full page. I'm sure it's to do with my folder setup, but I need help.

Is this happening when you first open IE? If so, and assuming you have an IE symbol in the taskbar, right click on it, select properties, click on the shortcut tab, then in the RUN window select Normal window.
If you don't have IE in the taskbar bar, right click on wherever you start IE from, and do the same.
If it is only happening on new windows, are they fully minimised or just less than full screen?
