Been using 32mb disk and bought 48mb as spare. Problem is am unable to view photos on new disk and get the "aquistion error" message. Happens when down loading from computer and camera. Any ideas?

Errr...maybe this is just me but...

For anyone to help you with this, I think you need to provide a bit more info, like what camera you are using and the type of connection between the computer and the camera. Also, your problem might be a bit specific to be answered here, may require you to e-mail the manufacturer or something.

Thanks Mike

Camera, Kodak DC 215.

Disk that can be down loaded to computer is a 32mb flashcard.

Disk that cannot be downloaded to computer is a 48mb compact flash memory card. Is there a difference? (can view in the camera ok)

As you say, will have to contact Kodak. At least I have found out which disk not to use.

There is a problem to access all files in one go...If you can preview the files on your PC, than select only 5 or 4 to download. Once downloaded, delete these files from your memory card. Continue until you have them all.

I had a customer with the same problem. It is not the camera, Kodak will be very helpful but they will not find any problem, apart from the fact that the memory card is most probably not a genuine one.. .It is your PC. I assume some 40 pictures are on your card, all transferred to the PC will expand them to some 1 GB of data....... .Even if you have the harddisc space available, Bill Gates systems are unable to handle this amount of temporary memory, which in fact is needed.

Use the workaround I told you above...it should do the job..
