...for the wrong company....

Cut and paste.

In all my years as an operator/broker i did not have carte blanche to be taken to my meetings via the attached! Plus as a broker I did not think Exec Air Charter was so rich to piss away cash to send their peeps in such style.

I stand to be corrected!

Maybe as she says in the perks sections she got a free ride. We are all allowed them aint we? Why not milk it for some free publicity.

The girl is doing well up there you know!

TOS!

I just naturally assumed that all brokers travelled by Helo and Private jet. I figured ours were too small for them. So do you guys have to drive to work?

If you check their website, this Elena Torres actually owns ExecAircharter. Bit of a PR stunt on her part, bless her for trying.

It works, we are talking about her.

With a trim colour like that on the seating & sidewalls, I'd puke on entry. Ain't just the brokers who get the free rides folks, had mine on DA2000/50/900B/EX, GIII/IV/V, CL600/1/4/5/605, BBJ/75/74, ACJ etc. Forget 125s/C500/LRs too small!

public transport, what's that? Don't all of us in the industry travel in private jets?

What's "driving to work"?

:ok:

Hi, Hola, Bounjour, Ciao

My, my, what a nice welcome to Pprune...

Tequila dude or slammer boy (i much prefer slammer by btw), 'in all your years' working in this game I'm sorry you haven't managed to get a wee cheeky trip on a jet.

The article was 'unsual jobs with great perks' with a twist of journo spin...tis chip poke paper now... and btw we never 'piss cash away' it's amazing what a smile and a bit of charm can do...you should try it sometime.

later 'gator

Take it if you can get it, and why not? It would be great to be able to find the time to do something like that - sadly, we're just too busy! :E

EeeTee, is your company associated with Ultimate Jets Europe?

I noticed this quote on your website...

"Football
Is football is your passion and you don't want to miss that all-important away game? Let Ultimate Jets Europe take you to the match. We can arrange private jet travel, tickets to the match and a hotel for afterwards."

Nothing is ever as it seems especially in the press. You dont really believe what you read.

Maybe the Cannes trip was an empty leg to pick up paying customers and the girls were offered that leg with the proviso that they Easy Jetted back at their own expense?

The Motor racing could have been in company with a spare engine which was being rushed down to a paying racing team.

The worst I ever had was for a large newspaper group who rented a Hawker to take a bunch of people for a Golfing holiday in Spain.

They were annoyed at having golf clubs littering the Hawker and rented another Jet (me) to fly down to bring the Golf clubs back.

Think if that had hit the press :-) With all the carbon footprint stuff (sorry cannot tell you which newspaper or I might get shot at dawn)

Think I could have made a fortune selling that story to a rival group or television.

I used to do some "brokering" years back and it was not nearly as glamorous as the article makes it sound. I still have a few friends who are brokers and they definately don't travel by private jet. Its basically sitting in an office being on the phone with clients/operators and staring at a computer screen all day long. I don't doubt that she was able to utilize an empty leg or two, but cannot imagine that she has free useage of the jet anytime she likes. Then again I'm not a young single female.

How modern and forward thinking of you G4pilot. Of course she doesn't have use of a jet at her whim. Its a press release, c'mon, get a sense of humour people.

The article and the editorial just made me chuckle to be honest. Of course I have had my share of empty legs and heaven forbid I have utilised my firms jets in the past to take me on legitimate trips on business!

The piece just made me chuckle to be honest and Elena, no disprespect intended whatsoever in regards to the 'piss money away' quote, that is just what the editorial led people to believe! Good for you.

Strangely though we have had 9 applications for work this week, strangely all young females..... the power of the press eh!
