Anyone out there familiar with this? It is the Norton 'Ghost' bundled with an Epox m/board.

When I run it, the option 'Local'/'Disk' has the 'To Disk' option greyed out.

I basically want to copy the C: drive to another (40GB/1 partition) drive. What am I doing wrong (OK Danny- apart from using a PC!)

I've never seen Ghost bundled with anything....what version have you got?

BOAC Is the second drive installed and accessible from your OS? Is there a partition on the second drive formatted using a file system that your bootdisk can read? Can you access the target drive from the bootdisk command prompt?

We use Ghost v6.51 (currently rolling out 5,000 pc's with it) and it doesn't grey out the Disk option, but you get an "only 1 disk" if it can't find another disk.

Hope this helps

If its Windows XP, Ghost will not write to an NTFS volume. It has to FAT32 or a CD. I partition my drive in C (NTFS) and D (FAT32). Works OK then.

Sorry I've been away! Version 5. something. Bundled with Epox M/board.

3 disks now, all formatted and partioned as reqd, but 'Disk to Disk' is still greyed out. However I have now done a 'Disk to image' successfully.

Thanks to all repliers.
