View Full Version : Information Required On Dash 8 Aircraft

Looking for cabin layout of all types of Dash 8 aircraft. (Diagrams and pictures if possible) Also engine fire extinguisher locations and fuel capacities etc. Any help will be much appreciated:ok:

The Q400 is typically configured for 78Y, plus 2 cabin jumpseats and 1 jumpseat on the flightdeck. Useable fuel is 5,318kg, engine fire extinguishers are located in the left wing root.

Are you thinking of building one to escape from the Isle of Man? :E

Configured to 50 seats at 32inch pitch but is capable of 55. 14 rows of seats - row 1 is 2 abreats and rearward facing (opposite airstair door) whilst remaining rows are 4 abreast. Lavatory and wardrobe are at the front with the galley and service door at rear. 2 cabin crew jumpseats, 1front 1, rear and 1 rear hold with 320 cubic feet.

Emergency exits are at rows 2 and 11 with row 11 having external ditching dams fitted to fuselage. Usable fuel is 2839lbs per tank (2).

Engine fire extinguishers are in the rear left wing root fairing and contain 2 bottles for forward and aft.

ps, dont forget some are fitted with an apu.
