Tabbed Browsing problems in IE

I couldn't find a topic on this already, but sorry if it is a repeat.

Has anyone else experienced this problem; When I click to open a new tab, it begins to open and says 'connecting', but that's as far as we get. The entire window is now useless and has to be ended by the task manager. I'm having to revert to using separate windows for everything which is slightly irritating.

Does anyone have a possible solution?

If you're using Google Toolbar, Yahoo Toolbar or similar, uninstall it/them and then try.

Once you have a working IE7, you should be able to reinstall your additional toolbars.
