Heard from a colleague that they saw the first A321 on the ground at Stand 13 or 14 today. Aparently, a very cheap & simple looking GF livery, mostly white not unlike the XL Airways wet-lease livery. Too bad-- I wonder whether this will be the "future" livery that management has hinted.

Tried to find some pics on Airliners.net but nothing. Anybody know of any pics of this new bird?

Oh no.....just when we were hoping that they had decided not to take these old delapidated airframes....
What is it with cheap in this place.:ugh:

Just seen that in November BAH-AUH is operated by A319 (in computer reservation system), how many of those will come and when will they join?

My sources say 2 A319s by end of 2008 and another 2 in 2009.

Is there anybody out there?

Oh well, even if there isn't, 'twas a great song from Pink Floyd.....:ugh:

Thanks guys for the quick responses.

Are there currently really 11 320s - I thought there would be only 10?

Thanks Stefan

I have to say, that is the most beautiful livery out there, i mean, the A320 is not the most beautiful looking airliner (in my opinion, no bashes please!) But the GF livery makes anything look stunning. I wish i could have seen that livery on a 777-300ER, it would be a knockout!!

Best of luck to GF!!

Sadly current management doesn't like the livery (even though it is one of the best out there) so make the most of it whilst we can.

Fyi, runours on the new livery is that it will feature a bit more red (for Bahrain).

i gotta say the red engines on the formula-one A330 looks quite the eye catcher.

A321 should be arriving in Bahrain sometime tomorrow. Shannon-Amman-Bahrain. looks sharp on the stretch version. my guess is that it will be heading straight for the Maintenance hanger once it gets there for the engineering fellas to oogle over.....
