Good grief, what a nasty set of failures ! The crew did extremely well to get themselves out of that pickle. Sounds like the QRH is going to be updated then.

After the incident, according to the safety board, simply pushing the throttles to full open with “a normal application of force” would produce an error message on the plane’s computer screens.
Not for nothing did Vern Raburn work all those years for Microsoft.

Concerning the Eclipse 500 during windshear encounters:
"pushing the throttles to the stop" means something different in a Eclipse
vs all other jets.:eek:
