can we do it like we can with Hotmail, yahoo mail etc??

is it http, imap, or pop?

You can only access pilot.pprune.com email from a browser, but you can configure it to notify another email address when it receives email.

It can also be used to access other POP3 accounts, which is very useful when you are away from home.
