Hi everyone,
I'm just new to the forum, I am currently winding up my PPL and I would most definately like to pursue my career as a professional pilots i.e Airlines.
Can anyone please verify if it is the best route for one to go down the route of going to America, obtaining their CPL/ME/IR and hour building and coming back to the uk to do the conversion!!!
I have an ideal opportunity to go to Belair international at San Carlos airport in Sanfrancisco as My Wifes sister works like 2 mins from the San Carlos airport and has invited me to stay with her whilst doing my course.
I live in northern Ireland and recently returned home from hols there when I experienced a pleasure flight over the golden gate bridge whilst flying through Class B Airspace between Oakland international and SFO (Which was unbelievable).
I would appreciate your views on whether it is best to do the american thing or just pay through the nose at home!!!???
thanx guys in advance
