I was travelling on a (very new looking) BA A320 type to Malaga on Monday, and following flap retraction, a tab of rubber or fabric became trapped and protruded between Flap and port innermost Flap track fairing. I reported this in flight to the CC.

Following the landing cycle, the rubber protusion dissappeared, either it fell off, or somehow didnt get trapped.

Any Idea what it was?

Pax next to me asked me what we were looking at, so i told her, she asked was I worried and I said no. To which she replied, well if you do get worried will you tell me...

be a bit late by then I thought...

I probably should have been smart enough to tell her she could smell the worry.

But I'm not.
