Some on here have humorous user names that sound like something smutty. It makes small boys of all ages laugh.

Make me (and the rest of us laugh) by posting a comment on this article (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/opinion/main.jhtml?xml=/opinion/2008/06/09/do0904.xml) in the Telegraph, and signing with a name that looks normal but is in fact (titter, titter) very silly indeed.

I've started the ball rolling with my response, signed by alter ego, Hugh Jorgan :ok:

Only one person here will get the alias because it was thirteen years ago.

Before the operation.

He, he, he. :E

PS - I'm in! On top at the mo - it takes about 15 minutes.

That long? :E

And at least one reader is onto us:

"The joker with the funny names strikes again. Hilarious. If you have nothing to say, why waste yours and everyone elses time by just cluttering up the thread. Do you giggle if someone says something rude too?"

And the answer to that is "Yes, I do" :E

A_A, my aged, maiden Aunt felt she needed to reply.

Norma Snockers (7:05 PM), Tess Tickles (8:15 PM) and particularly Sloberdown Disyabitch (8:27 PM) - wake up please, moderators! - have demonstrated by their nom-de-plumes all there is to be said about soccer.

Mentioned in despatches!!!

have demonstrated by their nom-de-plumes all there is to be said about soccer.

I take this as a sexist insult. The content of my post was as valid as any other. Tsk. I might have to report that poster. :E

That is the funniest thing I have read this month! Well done AA, I shall email the link, with the story about the names, to a few mates of mine!

10th Jun 2008, 02:48
Done. Makes a nice change to use one of my (many) permanently banned PPRuNe identities again!

He He

Got this in

As a family we are preturbed that we cannot fly the
flag this year. My brother, Phil McGlass and my
cousin Phil Mcavity, despite being scots also rue the
fact they cannot fly the flag.

I think they have wised-up. I submitted a comment about three hours ago and it has not been posted yet.

Perhaps the thread has been locked as there have been no new posts for many hours.

Hey this was fun, lets do it again some time soon - different news paper though!
