Saw an AEW over Southend yesterday, circa 14.30 BST. Did a few circuits, caused quite a stir on one low pass. Never seen one in our local before, just wondered why it was there..

Many thanks..

Probably killing time whilst waiting to take part in the Role Demo display at the Biggin Hill Air Fair.

yes the role play at Biggin was very good, the sentry was there for about 30 mins from around 330pm, kept doing wide circuits almost as far away as Croydon (maybe keeping an eye on all those illegals :) )

Yep, as stated already. BHAF.

P.S. Seems you need to be quite intelligent to work in an Aldi store. :O

I saw a Tornado (couldn't tell if it was an F3 or GR4) and a Harrier over North London on Friday morning, then an F3 yesterday morning.

Do I win a prize?

Is there a new pie shop in southend that the E3 boys have found?

Well I was at BH on Saturday - and certainly no E3 as part of the role demo then, unless I missed him while munching an ice cream....or did he just show up on the Sunday?

He showed up on Sunday.

The kids really enjoyed the Role Demo, especially the 'scramble' take off from the Tornados - nice and LOUD

"Always serviceable on det".

Could it be that on det there enough blue suit groundcrew dedicated to a single aircraft whereas at mainbase the fleet are subject to a civilian company "Whole Life Support" contract?

Good work from the guys last week though, 3 out of 3 and the transits.:)
