Maybe the cadet program will help with the staffing..

Maybe the cadet program will help with the staffing..

Of course it will, if they could only get the whole program together. They are investing in this so they don't have to pay for 2 skippers and 2 F/O's to fly a 345 into JFK. As soon as they squeeze their first weenie out they will create an SO payscale, and most likely put a seat and upgrade lock on the cadets.

Sounds exactly like GF...the big red flashing "you have roster changes to which you have not yet been advised". We were seeing those a good 10 times a month at GF a year ago.

Kind of sucks when trying to plan things.

"We are using airline best practices", whatever that means.

SR uses this when he usurps one of our colleagues apartments. When he tries to steal back vacation days. When he explains how getting per diem is actually a 7% raise.

This industry must really be bad when lying, thieving and manipulating your coworkers is best practice.

And the best, in my opinion: "Cabin Crew, take your seats for landing, Insh Allah". When flying with the 320... You don't hear it always, but it scares the hell out of me.

Totally agree with that one. Since being evicted my mate was told this, no problem, no problem we will get you into a villa. (Him, wife, 4 kids, dog and cat) that was 4 months ago, day after day he was told this.
EY have now put him in a squalid flat with 6 legged insects, and this is after he was told that his pets are not allowed.:ugh:
We know for sure that there are 2 empty villas in KCB, and have been for a while, can anyone enlighten me as to why they are stood empty when there is a housing shortage.

Welcome to ****ihad :

You have to pay to park your car at the airport now......

AED 400 and a refundable AED 150 so cool

As there is no company transport for us

Just another insult

How pathetic....

Even the Indian Low cost carriers don't do that.

ETIHAD...

Those chaps you are referring to (as of yesterday) have no idea about their accommodation, timeframe, or its location and are currently quite happy in their new hotel.

One could have said the same in the past about management getting the first villa and a certain S/E asian country's crews....

So get the lies right first.........

Re the Carpark.......

Pay it on your Credit Card, take the rec to HR and you will leave with the cool, hard, cash within 10 min.
That email, as per normal, was a general one and not aimed solely at pilots.

BCF

Why should we have to use our credit card and waste 10 min. at HR?

I would rather have a cool one on my day off!

For the stupid thing , it's an entry requirement for HR and Finance.

For the mean thing, well , that's part of the training here....
