Hi Chaps and Chapesses,

I am waiting on the CPL ME/IR being issued, and am very keen to do the Flight Instructor ticket for my shiny new license. I have heard that DEFTS are reasonably priced, and more importantly offer a great level of instruction on their courses.

Does anyone have the relevant contact details, or any ideas on pricing?

Hi BBL,

I know the team very well at DEFTS, and you are correct a quality product will be delivered for your investment. The CI up at Barkston is a chap called Tim who you can contact on 01400 265018. Hope this helps.

Em, thanks AIDU, one year too late to do that! I do fly the mighty Grob 109, but unless A2 or above this doesn't transfer to a civvy flying qualification :rolleyes:

I'm also looking at DEFTS, whats the deal with accomodation etc while on the course? Please PM if you would rather not discuss on the open forum
