Idiots.

Not you guys, the journalists.

The plane in the pic is not the same as the one involved in the incident this morning.

'takeonme' yr right it can't be the same plane/incident. the report mentiones off the rwy, bogged etc, looks to me like that 'bog' is black bitumen! I love it when the journo's say 'crashed', what describes the word crash? That's a whole other thread I'd say. Personally I think that this latest incident is just that, an incident.

As long as nobody was hurt it's just another day in the life of a pilot

Of course it was!

Why would you waste the experience gained the first time around!

(By the way, if you skid off the road in your car, do you take a week off? NO. You pull it out of the mud and drive away!!)

Yep you're right.

Not much difference between your two scenarios...:hmm:

A week off? Perhaps not. Who mentioned taking a week off??

Why would they need to since it wasn't even an aircraft or pilot from that company?

It was a wagga air aircraft. nose tyre deflated just proir to lift off.
Pilot did a great job. Unfortunatly not enough run way to stop.
