The Times - 2nd June (http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/article4045122.ece): The Ministry of Defence is expected to confirm today that a £6 billion, 20-year Private Finance Initiative contract to train all pilots and air crews for the military, including fast-jet pilots, has been awarded to a joint venture between Lockheed Martin and VT. The Military Flying Training System replaces the existing regime for RAF, Army and Royal Navy pilots and air crews.
