Heard that SQ is negotiating with a bunch of MAS pilots with KUL as base.Any truth to this?
Couple of years ago SQ rejected this proposal from a group of MAS pilots but with SQ desperately in need of pilots today they may agree to this idea.
I seriously do not believe that SQ will open such a "flood gate" option as they have been trying hard not to address this issue for as long as possible.

I think it's just a rumour. They're looking at the Oz option.

Yes, there was some talk a while ago. I think the MAS option is good. Most that are ready to go (no more bond)are generally incident free, but more importantly accident free. Should be no culture problems, both airline came from the same roots. Cheaper too..according to the CX folks ! Many are anxious to go..if not SQ, CAL and KAL.
