On the 18th May EK 722, NBO-DXB has a return to land after on engine failure o take off. The flight returned to Nairobi followed by a successful out come. Congratulations to to all the crew on that flight for a job well done.

I am not interested in the reason behind the return to land, just grateful for your professionalism and a job well done.

Unfortunately, the EK ground reps in both NBO and DXB spoiled all the gloss of your good work. The ground staff were absolutely hopeless. Sorry.:=

At least the pilot knew that after V1 there was no stopping, not like the Air Zim crew in Lilongwe a couple of weeks back who where rotating when they had a birdstrike, but still elected to brake and blow all the tires on the main landing gear....Africa for you.
