Hi everyone!

I am reading the ATPL, and heard about this so called Italian questionbank. Does anyone have it? and can I possibly get a hold of it?

If you can help a student to improve his results, mail me at: [email protected]

Just use Bristol mate, work your way through the entire database (Version 2) for the subject at least once, noting the questions you got wrong or were not 100% on (in a text file is good so you can paste them back in to Bristol). Do the wrong questions time and time again until you get them all right and then do mock exams for 2 or 3 days before your actual exam. Worked for me.

I know people that used the Italian question bank and I don't think it was as similar to the exam as Bristol was.

Of course as long as you have studied the manuals then you should be fine anyway :E

It's not "so-called" - it is the Italian Question Bank!! Bristol is very good and their questions are similar, if not the same, as the real UK exams. However, if you're not in the UK, the Italian feedback may be equally valid. And it's free! This is the only place I've found it on the internet.

Start at post #8 and where it says "pitanja" - these are the questions and "odgovori" are the answers.

... save in a text file so you can paste them back in to Bristol. Student 513

Hi Student513 and all other readers of this page. How do you save the relevant Bristol database pages as a text file to post them back in? It uses FLASH player and so doesn't allow you to save individual pages.

Any ideas anyone or is it just a case of writing each question down as and when?

Regards

Greg

I used to write the questions down in a notebook (only the ones I got wrong!) and carry the notebook with me for revision.

My subscription has lapsed now but you could try the "print screen" button, paste into Word and print. Not sure how well that would come out but it may be quicker than writing them all down (but not as portable!!)

Cheers

Hi,
How do you save the relevant Bristol database pages as a text file to post them back in? It uses FLASH player and so doesn't allow you to save individual pages.

The flash frontend displays the content of an xml file. You can save this xml file on your computer.

The questions don't seem to be in the HTML source of the web page. How do I access the XML that you mention or more specifically how do I get to the Flash frontend that you mention? Happy to be PM'd!

Regards
