"SIA (MAURITIUS) LTD REQUIRES B747-400 CAPTAINS FOR OPERATING SINGAPORE AIRLINES SERVICES OUT OF LONDON, LOS ANGELES AND SYDNEY
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should have at least 7000 hours total inclusive of 3000 PIC hours on commercial jets in international operations and a current rating on the B747-400 with minimum 1000 PIC hours on type.
REMUNERATION & SERVICE BENEFITS
Depending on your basing, you will earn an annual salary (including allowances and year-end bonus) of approximately: (a) STG 78,000 in London, (b) USD 113,000 in Los Angeles or (c) AUD 206,000 in Sydney.
In addition, subsistence allowance will be paid for each hour away from Base (for meals and incidental expenses whilst on flying duty) and a bonus depending on the company-s performance. For financial year 1999/2000, a bonus of about STG 17,000 was paid (USD 24,000/AUD 45,000).
A gratuity of STG 21,000 (London), USD 30,000 (Los Angeles) or AUD 55,500 (Sydney) is payable upon completion of the contract period of 3 years, with prospects for extension.
Free air travel on SIA services for employee, spouse and eligible dependants once a year. Discounted travel on other occasions.
Free private medical insurance.
Annual Leave: 4 calendar weeks.
AGE LIMIT
Maximum 56 years at time of joining.
