Greeting all, appreciate any info on Captain contract flying in China. How are you treated by management? Should one expect to mentor, foster low time FO's? How is life at Deer Air,Shenzhen Airlines, or others?

Thanks,
A320 Cpt

Are you a US pilot looking to go to China? what airline do you work for now? I worked in China 2004 - 2006. Some background about yourself would be helpful

Good luck,

I think you are a Frontier pilot. My heart goes out to you, been there, done that.

Anyways, I have a friend who is an agent in China. Let me know what you are thinking.

Try climbto350 jobs are posted everywhere. The hard part is getting on the jet to the other side of the World for many.

You will see many crew leasing companies listed, just apply at the one where you want to work. Better start moving because every A-320 driver in the World is applying for jobs in China, India and Middle East.

Plan on 3-8 months before you start working depending on the process.

Airlines in India are bleeding and sinking fast...best bet is China & Middel East..will need to pay for your A320/737NG type rating from your pocket...

Hi Left Wing,
Well I have some 910 hours (but all GA) with FAA and ICAO approved CAA licenses. Am also ready to pay for the type. Can you suggest which agenciesairlines to contact. Most of the airlines in China have their careers page in chinese, so it very difficult to get their contact emails.
thanks
HJM

hjmemon,

Do a search on contract agencies, they will have loads of various contracts available, Parc Aviation, Rishworth Aviation, and Euro-Pacific are just a few.
