Umbrella AOC's

Hi,

Anyone know the details on Umbrella AOC's so an operator can use someone elses AOC pending their own approval? How does this work?

Until now it was common practice for a start up operation to use another company's AOC to get up and running. Unfortunatley the new EASA regulations which are coming into effect no longer allow for this. New operators will have to go through the hard slog of setting up their own AOC before being allowed to operate.

Life doesn't get easier in this business....
