i heard that there will be a new member to ONEWORLD from India. any sources on that?

Heard from a source in Waterworld (Waterside) that Jetairways are making enquiries with regard to joining Oneworld

Quality all the way with Oneworld. I cannot see what the advantage is to either other than the loss of more BA business to Jet which appears to be a shrewd operator.

The benefits?
Open up India. I'm not sure who is the biggest domestic carrier in the country but if Jet were to join it would open up a lot more of the sub-continent to BA and the other carriers in the alliance. I don't see how it would much effect the BA load up front as they already compete with each other, both being successful. The big difference which it will make is definately the sub-continent being available to BA before any other EU carrier, which personally, I would be licking my lips at!

Right lets see if they do join Oneworld how long it is till Compass House has them close Brussels !
