Flyer there was a very good post on JQ pay rates not long ago. The various EBAs can be found somewhere as i'm fairly sure they are for public viewing.

Here's a link to various airline payscales:

http://www.pilotjobsnetwork.com/operatorlist.php?reg=Australasia

They are brief, but give you a start. I'm sure there are guys on here who could give you more accurate figures

Thanks for the link Skystar, was especiallysuprised that DJ FO gets less than 100k all in. Didn't know QF paid so much for Captains in 767,737's etc.

Not bad $$$ if you have just entered the market and you are still single in your 20's, no morgage etc...

flyernot sure those numbers are right mate.

DJ 737 chaps make more than J*320 drivers - which are more comparable to Ejet DJ drivers in terms of salary.

The ebas will tell you the correct figures.

Very good mate is a JQ FO, reasonably recent hire.
He sure isn't getting 102k.

More like 87k minus 12k a year for the first 3 years to pay for endorsement...

18-737, if you look harder you'll notice the dates on that link you used for your info are all 2006! I think it would be prudent to examine further before posting as I'm sure wages in 08 would be considerably different to 06. VB FO (level 1-which is junior) currently making $93k base and with around 10-15 overnights a month you can add a hefty allowance figure onto the base. After 500 hours you go to level 2 which is about another $10k onto the base. Friends of mine at JQ tell me that the base for A320 FO is around $85k and allowances not that much as they're home almost every night. Perhaps your post should have read "can anyone confirm these figures from some internet site that gives no verification for it's data". I mean for crying out loud, it gives it's source as "voluntary contributers" and still says that the EBA hasn't been ratified. All this info is out-dated. By the way, afer allowances I think you'll find a VB Captain is making close to $200k

Coolies, You would think that all pay has gone up since 06'. Anyway because Pilots are at so many different levels, flying different aircraft, the list would have to be 10pages long!.

Anyway thanks to rcoight and biton to clarify those few issues!

Money doesn't make you happy.
I now have 50 million, and I am no happier than I was two years ago when I only had 48 million.

I think the point of my post went over your head. I was merely questioning the standard in which you started an entirely new thread.

Your thread topic: "UPDATED AUSSIE PILOT PAYS" you boasted.
Your source of info: 2006.

That's some standard of journalism you work to. If you wanted to know pays, there are already countless threads on here discussing the issue. Some of them may even be correct.

Best of luck
