Firstly, before I get shot down, I have trawled through pprune looking for up to date info on the interview procedures. Am off to SIN in a couple of weeks and was wondering if anyone had any info regarding the DEC interview procedure. Regarding style of interview and also the sim ride. Any advice/info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi!

They just ask why you would like to join, and if you can say your Eng Fire Drill by heart. That's about it.
In the sim, which could be 744 or 777, you fly for a while doing the normal stuff like aborted T/O, V1 cut and normal and eng-out apches. Just show some captaincy, and fly the sim as you are flying your present a/c and all will go well.

What you should really think about is your family, and where you want to live. Rents are soaring, and you could easily pay up to 6-7000 SGD per month. You could stay in cheaper areas but I don't think that your family would cope with it in the long run. School fees are also rising without any rise in the allowance.
On the other hand, when the company makes money, they do share. Last year 6 months extra salary, BUT that is only basic pay which is 50-60 % of a normal months salary. Which means approx 3-3,5 months extra.

Living is easy here ones you have filled out approx 865 different forms for God knows what. They are so picky with forms and cheques that if your signature one day doesn't resemble the one you wrote yesterday, they won't recognize your cheque or form!!! That's how it is! Everywhere, even in the company.

Cheers!
