Ya Man!!! really bad luck this time again.
Never expected to be a 744 further more to be the colourful Tropical Megatop. Sob! Sob!
Hope & pray hard there would be no fatalities, from the TV broadcast looking at the wreakage of the whole plane, there seem to be deaths possibilities.

Has anyone tried to access any of the Singapore media web sites (Straits Times, etc). They've either caved in under high demand or been shut down entirely....

BL,

better not speak too much about this here otherwise 'Sunny' may not like our tone and possible may accuse us for digging up the SQ trash again. funny! this time he was the first one to report this SQ crash in this forum, guess he has the exclusive.
let's talk: "how's the weather today?"

p.s. sorry for the casualties and let's pray for more survivors

Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the SQ006 accident.

SQ006 tried to take-off in reported gust of 53kts.

One survivor reported of almost getting sea sick from the strong winds rocking the aircraft back and forth while taxiing for take-off.

The flight carried one Captain, two co-pilots. What was the pilot-in-command thinking when he made the decision to take-off? What was the thoughts of the two co-pilots?

Official SIA word so far is aborted take-off. I would have waited before making that statement.

The CVR and FDR have been recovered. The Taiwanese will not play ball with Singapore like the Indonisians did in the SilkAir case.

Since Lee Kuan Yew has always taken the side of China in the China Taiwan dispute, I doubt that the Taiwanese will candy coat information to favor Singapore during the investigation.

Hi guys,by now they should have specific details as to the outcome of the death toll as investigations are still underway as to find out the real cause of the crash.

There have been many speculations which tell people many different theories of what happened!!! I guess the best thing to do now is to wait for SQ final announcement to be broadcast to people worldwide.

Bet this time, losses would be great!!!!

Good Day.
