There was an ad in Flight 24-30 October for 737-400 crews for Region Air. Replies to Singapore address by 8 November. No salary info. Is this a new start-up operator and if so, does anyone have any info on destinations, basings, conditions etc?

No, it is not a new start up.
It is based in Singapore and has been in business for quite a number of years. It has an AOC, but has not operated as a scheduled airline. They are now in the aircraft leasing and Air Vietnam is one of their leasees.
Maybe they are looking for drivers for a wet lease.
