Besides being an instructor, what jobs am I qualified for in Asia?

Currently with 1400 single hours / 40 multi hours.

If not yet qualified. I'd like to give myself 2 years to obtain the experience to put myself in a position to get a job in Asia.

What kind of experience should I then be building?

Thanks.

You can find a Job as FI in Malaysia (6 schools), in Thailand (1 school utilising expats), China (At least 2 or 3 schools).
Maybe Philippines are also looking for instructors but it is considered as low standard.
Considering Airlines -except in China and in Middle East-, only type rated and experienced on type expatriates can get a job.
Everywhere the Civil Aviation Authorities are very protectionist.

My advice is to come in Asia as a FI and to make your own evaluation when here.

After selection and training by Airlines, Philippinos Pilots are certainly at the Standard... Another thing is what happens NOW in the Ab-Initio training...
