Hi all

I believe Jetstar have closed their recruitment for the time being but i was wondering if there was anyone out there who has had some communication with them as to when they expect another recruitment drive?

Redundancies must be just around the corner then!
What was in section 35 of the agreement again?:uhoh:
Shouldn't be too hard to survive on 8 weeks redundancy pay until the economy and discretionary spending picks up again!:bored:

Good on ya Max sounds like you may need a good dose of redundancy,
It's not fun you should try it some time before posting those type of comments:yuk:

oneday - its called the Ansett Mafia who run that circus. They always thought they knew better and still do. Oh the glory days of the blue shirt.... They are absolutely ruining any chance of J* management getting any respect within pilot ranks and from the wider pilot community as a whole. Just have a look at the A320 ops man as it is written from Airbus v Ansetts ops v J*. Oh they know SOOO much better. And have a look how many good people have left J* because of the policies and politics of the said Ansett Mafia ruining the show (I mean running the show.) They already contributed to one good airline being run into the ground, now lets wait and see......

It ain't just happening at Jetstar, They are worming their way back in to alot of companies, (A Air express, Ozjet etc.)They just can,t let go! Remember all their mates that are over seas need to get back. Jobs for the boys! and if you weren't ANSETT mk2 then your chances are slim!

Gee toolish, that's a bit harsh. Did old Max hit a bit too close to the bone did he?
We all knew with the economy slowing something like this might eventuate.
Why didn't the JPC do anything during EBA negotiations to improve pilots tenure?

I have seen a lot of good people in many industries go of the rails due to economic slow down when you have a good mate take the ultimate step to end it all see if you still take delight in those comments.

Not true I am ex AN and labeled a S**B but can't get a look in here.

Good luck to all that can look through this rot. I call it rot because it is destroying terms and conditions by preventing any form unification.

As for CSTGuy and charlie6, You guys need to get a life because you are doing nothing for this one. The divisions you are contributing to is exactly why foreign crew can be brought in to take your job and mine. Grow UP.
