Any truth in the rumour that Birmingham (UK) based Jet Options are to aquire Legacies? I know they wanted to expand but it's a big step up from Citations

Cheers, I see their first one was delivered yesterday evening

I presume they're keeping the Citations?

Not heard to the contrary.

G-IRSH is the Legacy - assume that gives a clue to the nationality of the owners?

Is there any truth that BHX based Jet Options may be in trouble (financially)? They seem like a good outfit & the company I previously worked for used them & they seemed a great bunch of people

What's happening to the aircraft? Are they owned by the airline?

Biggin appears to be becoming an aircraft graveyard. Bluestream, Jet Options...

Have seen that the Citations are being marketed / operated by Direct Fly. Who also happen to have PC's Citation IIs (SOVA and LUXY) and King Air. What's the betting he's behind this outfit...

I have a friend flying for Direct Fly, he said the company is taking 4 Citation II's and one King Air on lease and opened up a branch office in the UK and Italy. According to him some middle east investors are behind who want to become one of the major operators in Europe. I'm trying currently to get a dispatcher job with this company, seem to be a safe bet to keep the job.

Big in Europe with the Plane Chartering left overs! I bet Netjets are shaking in their boots!

Why do people always compare any start-up to Netjets? There are:

1. Sections of the market that Netjets can't/won't/don't serve.

2. Companies who offer a superior service.

They may have the largest fleet in Europe but then again so do Ryanair and only their employees rave about them. Maybe I've just answered my own question.

I used Netjets as as exapmle as they have the biggest corp jet fleet in Europe.

I am not an employee of Netjets they could not pay me enough shillings to get me to leave my wonderful boss and fantastic tropical climate!
