Hey everyone. I'm graduating high school here in the U.S. in about a month and a half, always wanted to be a pilot, since I was 4 years old actually when I went to attend my mom's flight attendant graduation. I'm planning on becoming a flight attendant for a few years, and hopefully get my hours in to be a pilot in the future. I saw this cadet pilot program that Etihad is offering. Can anyone tell me what exactly that is? Hopefully I won't get blasted by anyone on here, that's why I'm asking for your guys help and opinion. I would really like to do this but they probably won't even take a look at my application beacuse I don't have any flight hours under my belt, my highest education would be my high school diploma, I'm barely 18 years old (18-26 is the age requirement for the program), and I'm pretty sure the people that applied for the cadet pilot program have all those above. Do you think it's worth it for me to apply and give it a shot? All I know about the program is it's an 18 month program, full time, in AUH, with a possible position as a pilot with Etihad. I really really want to do this but I feel like I'm underqualified, so anyways, thanks for listening to me ramble. Looking forward to your guys' feedback.
