Am running on Windows ME and want to listen to archived BBC programmes but Real Player Version 10 needs Windows XP - does anyone know of a fix to listen to these programmes on Windows ME.

Thanks for any help.

RealPlayer 11 requires XP, 10 will work just fine on ME (my condolences on your affliction by the way).

Have a look at this page for an ME compatible version: http://forms.real.com/real/player/blackjack.html

There's also RealAlternative which will give you the capability of playing RealMedia files without having to install RealPlayer, which frankly is horrible.

Shunter, thanks for that - got it all up and running now and yes, I agree, Windows ME is a bit of an affliction!

I can also heavily endorse RealAlternative over RealPlayer. RealPlayer is nasty.
