Not an Airline but.............SAPL

Captains

Salary $100,000
2% increase per year to year 10
CPI increase
Bonus $50,000 year 1 & 2, $100,000 year 3

FO

Salary $60,000 and annuals as per Captain
Bonus $30,000 year 1 & 2, $60,000 year 3

FIFO possible for Captains and BRM FO, costs most of bonus but work 15 on 13 off.

There is a bond, can't remember all details.

NO training wage, full salary from DOJ !!!

Check www.surveillanceaustralia.com.au (http://www.surveillanceaustralia.com.au) for exact details.

Hope this helps.

Aerorescue captains 85000 and 60 dollars per hour on average 250 hrs a year, 4 days on 4 days off end of April nearly matching SA and retaining the 60 dollars an hour flight pay. Not a dash but gives you an idea whats available.

Aero Rescue fly DO328-100.

The question was regarding Dash 8 pay.

As an aside, thats not bad what they are paying at long last.

The 60 dollars an hour is for customs flying and SAR.

Capt - 86k
F/O - 53k

extra cash for 1000 hours flying experience in PNG - 7k for a Skipper, 4k for an F/O

Retention Bonus per year - 15k for a Capt, 7k for an F/O

and "no"...these figures are not in Kina

pretty good life style too... only one overnight at a time unless you are under training or employed as a training captain

Skytrans are owned by QRA (Queensland Regional Airlines) not Airlines of PNG. Took over in 06/07.

So Airlines PNG pay more than Skytrans, I thought they were the same company?:ooh:well...they are - but the extra money is for dealing with the all the **** up there...such as weather, big hills, **** ATC, unsealed one way airstrips...

Yes skytrans,APNG,QRA all wild family companies so yes all the same but different. APNG much harder flying that requires so much more experience have a look at the longest ever thread here tok tok long PNG and you will get an idea. Though not bad pay for 3 on 3off. And the view is always worth looking at and never a dull moment.

APNG and PX have to pay more than the others as the tax rate in PNG is horrendous. Cairns basings are getting popular as the company saves money on finding you suitable accommodation in Morbid.

Wouldn't be surprised in the end if you end up the same or worse off than with an Aussie company. Can't beat the flying though.
