Got a mate. Non Aussie citizen. South American. Not working in Oz. English is his second language. Got contacted by a contract company asking if he was interested in a pilot interview with Qantas.

Jetstar, or Qantas. whats the go?

Is the pilot shortage so bad we need to import rather than pay a decent salary to attract some of the Australian expats back home?:yuk:

No, its not.

However, it does mean a few more bucks for GD.

And it all helps to see just how far people are willing to let things go, knowing its a downhill slope.

The "race to the bottom" is on, the majority will end up poorer, a handful will make (another) fortune.... :mad:

Biggles did your mate ask them to contact QF or did they just offer? I know of plenty of o/seas contacts that claim to be able to get you interviews for a fee.
