Folks, there's a major change coming very soon to a Far East Forum near you. End result will be faster access for all and less of the outages we've seen recently with the servers running at full capacity. Here's the message from Danny: . .
quote:
I have just signed an agreement to upgrade the current server (Dual PIII 550MHz, 512Mb RAM, dual 9Gb SCSI RAID) to a Dual PIII 800MHz, 1Gb RAM, dual 18Gb SCSI RAID (10,000rpm). Change over should occur around beginning April. It will probably mean PPRune being off-air for a day or two but the new higher powered server should put a stop to the recent server crashes we have been experiencing at peak times.. .

Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible!. .. .Allegedly!. .. .£6. . . . [ 29 March 2002, 14:47: Message edited by: Sick Squid ]
