Jeppesen JAR-FCL Student Pilot Route Manual

Goodevening Ladies and Gents,

I'm due to start my ATPL's in September at CATS and on there website it gives some information regarding what additional course material i require prior to starting the course.

I need to get hold of a "Jeppesen JAR-FCL Student Pilot Route Manual" for stage 2, but am wondering if these manuals go out of date at all??

I've found one on ebay but like i say i don't know if they get up-dated every year, or indeed go out of date?

They're already out of date. ;)

Seriously though, be careful because they do change stuff every now and again. There was an issue I know of where a few students failed an exam because they had old manuals which didn't contain a VFR section/chart (IIRC).

Thanks for that mate. It's worth just paying that bit extra for one then down at Transair or somewhere like that to get the most recent one???

Probably the safest option, but don't let that stop you selling your copy when you are done with it! :ok:
