I have used RANT over the years, both for initial IR course and 'refresher' top up now and then.

It is a VERY good program that allows you to learn/practice the navigational side of instrument flying with out getting caught up in the drama of trying to fly something like flight sim!

It is no substitute for the real thing but certainly allows you to practice and 'run thru' procedures at your leisure.

My advice....................buy it :ok:

Cheers

I would echo used to fly.

Also RANT simulates ADF Dip which no other program does. Its worth it for that alone.

Overall a great program and one i wish i had bought earlier.
