We're off to Cork for 2 nights in a couple of weeks. Can anyone reommend a good quality crew hotel within (say)10 miles of Cork International? Something quiet and "Country" would be good.......
Many thanks,
Jez.

Ive nightstopped cork a few times recently and stayed at the aiport hotel. I thought it was going to be crap but was a nice place. Friendly staff, and quirky interior decor.

I agree that the Airport hotel is good. Try to get a suite... they are pretty cool!

Cambioso,
Hire a car and take a trip up to Rostrevor. I'm sure His Lordship would be a welcoming host ;)

I have stayed at the aiport hotel as well, the Great Southern I believe!
Was very nice, rooms are good and food is good too. what more can I say!
If you phone them from the aiport they will send a car to come pick you up!

Maryborough House , Douglas.
Ballinacurra House, Kinsale
Carlton Hotel, Kinsale
The New Jury's hotel on Washington Street, Good for the City Centre maybe a bit noisy though. Its on the main drag back from town and the University is not far away.
Hayfield Manor Hotel, College road.
Hope these help.:ok:
