Hi have to import a jet into Europe and looking at the Denmark loophole for VAT.

I was directed to one company who handles the import but the new owner is not happy with the charges which amount to 2500 Euros + 5% of the value.

Can anyone direct me to someone who can handle that but at a reasonable cost?

Is it over the minimum weight for UK? Guess not or you would not be looking at Denmark.

Pace,

If you are putting the aircraft on commercial Ops (even if via a lease) then you can simply defer the VAT and claim it back, you are normally out of pocket for about 6 weeks, Martyn Fiddler have some useful guidance on this as well.
