Hi all,
I am a First Officer for a UK operator and have a question about my contract.
After recently starting, I was asked where I would like to be based, I said Manchester. So a contract was drawn up saying that. The exact wording is:
“From the 1st April 2008 onwards your place of work will be Manchester or such other place as the Employer may reasonably require”
I then see an air crew notice saying:
“To Clarify: all new joiners to MAN/EMA will have a primary base and operate to the alternate base under the terms of the alternate base variation”
Now, I’m quite new to all this and so I don’t know if I have taken the air crew notice to mean something it doesn’t, but I read that as saying I am dual based with East Mids and so have a number of Captains that I have flown with?
Just wondered what anyone else’s thoughts are on this?
Happy flying! J
