I need to convert them to JPEG. Anyone know a programme that can do this. Preferably a free one! ;)

Irfan view? It can save as .raw so I'm sure it can read them. Or download something like ReaConverter Pro!.or Image Converter Plus.

What produces .raf - is it Fuji? If it's for PC this place has some good freeware - Stepok RAW Importer (http://www.snapfiles.com/get/stepokraw.html) claims to convert them to jpg.

Yes it is Fuji. I have tried Stepok Raw and it saved 3 out of 50 - but this might be a feature of its shareware policy. Not sure.

gg,

I will see what your suggestions produce and I will also see if Irfan can change them.

Google's Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/) supports (http://picasa.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=15625) most RAW file types, but with a few exceptions for certain Fuji models (S5200-S5600).

S7RAW might do what you want. See http://www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-PaloAlto/9919/s7raw.html. It's specifically for Fuji kit.

There's a comparison of Fuji RAW converters at http://www.whisper-wood.co.uk/FujiRawConv.pdf.

If S7RAW doesn't work for you, check out Adobe's DNG converter, which is a free download.
