Flying Schools in venecia area

Can anyone recomend a flying school near venecia or treviso area.

The only FTO would be AirColumbia based in Padova.

Treviso counts only the local Flying Club (aka Aeroclub) and they cannot deliver any training beyond IR/SE. Venezia has an Aeroclub too and they can run fATPL/CPL-ME/IR courses. IMHO one of the best location in the country where to fly from/to in that part of the country. However they are a pain in the "proverbial" from the logistic point of view since the are located at S.Niccolò-Nicelli airstrip on Lido Island and unless your are living on the island itself getting there from mainland requires ages.

Another Full-options FTO to be considered would be AliTraining in Verona.

Venice Aeroclub based at Nicelli airport is closed until further notice...the Authority sospend all the activity due to economical and technical reason...if you want to obtain PPL there is also AeroClub Padova (padova airport); if you are looking for professional training the only solution is Alitraining in Verona because AirColumbia Padova doesn't perform ATPL courses, but only CPL/IR...

That's a very sad news. Another nail in the coffin of GA & Flight Training industry in this damn country. What's next? A brand-new hotel or shopping mall raised where the strip is?

Apologise for having posted inacurate (outdated) infos. Concerning fATPL & AirColumbia I regarded it a whole and not just about Padova's base.
