I had a ground engineers licence on them many years ago!!

I do not have any manuals now but I suggest you contact the Farnborough Air Museum, they may be able to help.

If you want to know anything I may have tucked at the back of my (senile!!) mind please ask.

What system did it have? maxarets?

Yes, maxarets, they were mounted at the top of the brake units & ran on the wheel hub.

They were quite effective, except in the wet, when we had to change a lot of wheels due to the tyres scalding on touch down when the wheel didn`t turn & the brakes didn`t release!!
