Does anyone know what is happening at Centralwings? A number of flights have been cancelled out of EDI.

Emergency landing in WAW - after takeoff to EDI main gear indicator displayed malfunction - after low pass over WAW pilot decided to land, but having 7t of fuel had to hold for around 40 mins. Landing was ok, no casualties.

BTW. Welcome everybody, this is my first post here.

Another reason to cut is the fact that they'll give back to LO two of 734's in April. New board announced that in a month they'll decide about the future of C0. Most probably they'll focus on charters and the most profitable routes.

Bit like Sky Europe then, they are not really going bust. . . . .

Media hysteria about the emergency landing won't help them.

All day long yesterday all media were full of the reports.
On top of uneventful landing, hot brakes created smoke,
pax panicked, full emergency evacuation with slides,
pax going out on the wing then jumping down.
Allegedly smoke in the cabin.
One pax with twisted ankle...

Films from mobile phones all around the net.

Titles like "Moments of horror.." etc.

It would appear that the subject of the survivability of Centralwings is being discussed elsewhere on this forum.
Surfice to say that at least they are being up front about their future and seem to be attempting to remove themselves from the Loco model and concentrate more on the more predictable charter market. Perhaps as a result of presure from the parent LOT's board.
