For any of you out there that have flown on VS in Upper Class and have availed of this service, it has unfortunatley come to an end with immediate effect. In the following article in the Times newspaper, VS falls short of stating its final intentions of withdrawing the service, regardless of the views of the IFBT's, but as of the last few days it has been confirmed that the service has ceased.

Very sad for the IFBT's now looking for alternatives after quite a few years of loyal service to the 'grinning sweater'.

Dysag, I think you have companies mistaken, to blame any ceo for this, you should be blaming Mr Branson, not Willy Walsh!. BA senior management have tried many times to infuence what happens within Virgin Atlantic with many different 'schemes', but Branson has never allowed them to succeed. This has nothing to do with BA and clearly is a Virgin cost cutting measure. :=

Ltn and beyond,

I suggest you re-read the posting by Dysag. I think you'll find his tongue was firmly in his cheek!

I just love reading posts that make no sense because people reply to posts that have been so heavily sensored by the mods...oh well! Here's another one for you! So how is WW influencing The VS service?? Anyone?
