Mozilla does not work

My sister tried to use the Mozilla and it failed - it got the message the page can't be loaded etc. She asked me and I told her to remove it and download it again. It did not work not did my attempt.

Any ideas? The Microsoft does work fine and the ADSL connection is fine - modem has the right lights on and the telephone works fine.

If your sister's PC has a firewall which monitors outgoing traffic as well as incoming, is it set to allow Mozilla to access the Internet?

BTW, firewalls of this type are a better bet than the default one in XP... if that's what's in use.

<tools- options- advanced- networks> click on "settings" in the connections box,

select the appropriate box If she uses a router the "direct connection to the internet" would be the one to select.
