That's a pretty bad record in terms of numbers. But in the case of the GAF Nomad some of that may be down to the environment it was operating in.

Good survival rate, some aircraft have killed more than that in a single crash...
Looking a bit harder, several seem to have been written off in ground incidents when either there was no one on board or with no fatalities. If it's relatively cheap to make but not cheap to fix then as with an old car, it doesn't take much to make it a write-off.
