Don't like computer games, don't play them, but wife and senior daughter (both superior in rank) do.
I have a XP/P4 machine built myself and a Dell/Vista all bells and whistles.
They want to run a game called Nancy Drew/Message in a Haunted Mansion but...
When I load it and try to play it I get a message "Init Direct Draw(), SetDisplay Mode ()-DDERR_Unsupported-Action Not Supported".
If I persevere, it tells me Runtime Error and stops.
Does this make sense to anyone? Any suggestions as to a way to proceed?
Thanks a bunch, and watch out for those ghosts.
